Privacy Policy
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
MIMO LLC (“MIMO,” “we,” “us”) is a data, technology, and AI consulting and development company. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information through mimollc.com (the “Site”), including our inquiry form, and in our communications with prospective clients and business contacts.
It does not cover information we handle for clients during an engagement. That information is governed by our agreements with those clients.
Who is responsible: MIMO LLC, 27890 Clinton Keith Rd Ste D #415, Murrieta, CA 92562. Privacy contact: info@mimollc.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and to run a secure website.
Information you give us. When you use the inquiry form we receive your name, business email, organization, the service and industry you select, and the description of your goals that you type. We also keep any information you send us by email or share on calls.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider, GoDaddy, may log your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, the date and time, and the referring page. We use these logs to deliver and secure the Site.
Spam protection. The inquiry form uses Google reCAPTCHA. Google processes information such as your IP address and device and browser data, and may set or read cookies, to tell people from bots. Google’s own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service govern that processing.
What we do not collect. We do not run advertising trackers, we do not offer user accounts, and we do not take payments through the Site. The only third-party service we use on the Site is Google reCAPTCHA. Please do not put sensitive information (such as government ID numbers, health data, or financial account numbers) in the form.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to answer your inquiry and keep the Site secure. The table also shows the legal basis we rely on where the EU or UK GDPR applies.
| Purpose | Information used | Legal basis (EU/UK GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Respond to inquiries, scope and propose work | Form details, email and call correspondence | Steps at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)); our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Operate and secure the Site, prevent spam and abuse | Server log data, reCAPTCHA signals | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)); consent where the law requires it for non-essential cookies or similar technologies |
| Follow up on an inquiry or existing relationship | Contact details | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements | Any of the above | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)); legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.
6. International transfers
MIMO is based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we transfer your information only where a lawful transfer mechanism is in place, such as a provider’s certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) or Standard Contractual Clauses. You can request information about the safeguards by contacting us.
7. How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. In practice:
- Inquiry form and correspondence: for as long as needed to respond to you and manage any resulting relationship, plus the period our contracts, tax, and legal obligations require.
- Server logs: for the period set by our hosting provider.
- reCAPTCHA data: held by Google under its own policies.
We then delete or de-identify it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access limited to people who need it. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and regulators as the law requires.
9. California privacy rights
Categories of information. In the past 12 months we collected identifiers (name, email address, IP address), professional information (organization and the project needs you describe), and internet activity data (server log data). We collect them directly from you and from your browser. We use them for the purposes in Section 3 and disclose them only to the recipients in Section 4. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.
Your rights. California residents may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, and give you a copy;
- delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions;
- correct inaccurate personal information.
You also have the right not to be discriminated against for using these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of.
How to ask. Email info@mimollc.com and tell us it is a privacy request. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days, and may extend once by another 45 days with notice. We may need to verify your identity. An authorized agent may submit a request for you with your written permission.
Shine the Light. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.83).
10. Rights for people in the EEA, UK, and Canada
EEA and UK. You may ask us to give you access to your personal information, correct it, erase it, restrict its use, or give you a portable copy. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing before you withdraw. We respond within one month, extendable where the law allows. You may also complain to your local data protection authority, or to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Canada. You may ask to access and correct your personal information and to withdraw consent, subject to legal limits. You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, to the Commission d’accès à l’information.
To use any of these rights, contact info@mimollc.com.
11. Children’s privacy
The Site is for business audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
